SevenCs is an active partner of several S-100/S-101 IHO expert groups. These groups are for example involved in S-101 Test Bed activities and the development of a new standard for S-101 Validation Checks. Recently SevenCs has offered a 12 month trial of its new S-101 validation software, called 7Cs Validator, to the members of the pre-mentioned groups.
Running on SevenCs innovative Kernel SDK (Nautilus) it will enable data producers, such as hydrographic offices, port and waterway authorities to validate their information extremely fast and easy before distributing it to navigators with the highest level of responsibility.
A test version of 7Cs Validator was released early this year; it is being constantly enhanced and by now already supports 175 individual checks relevant for S-101 datasets.
